Delivery Express
Daltons’ ability to provide a delivery service tailored to meet the
needs of their customers has been further enhanced by the purchase of a
new Scania 26 ton vehicle equipped with increased (7.5 ton) crane capacity.
The truck also incorporates greater body length and is equipped with sliding canopy to ensure that machines being transported are fully protected from the weather as well as speeding up the loading and offloading process.
The
lorry is finished in Daltons’ latest dark blue and white livery and
commenced revenue earning operations on 2 December 2002 in the careful hands
of experienced driver Steve Bath who is already well known to customers
throughout the UK and Ireland, having been responsible for delivering
Daltons high profile range of woodworking
machinery,
notably Wadkin, Stenner and Elcon products, for some 8 years.
In addition to offering a delivery and removal service to existing and prospective buyers, director Nigel Dalton is also pleased to receive enquiries from customers who wish to move their own machines, ie from one site to another, etc, as well as offering (when time permits) a delivery service to other machinery suppliers.
