Daltons reach out to Furniture Industry
Long established Nottingham based woodworking machinery distributors and manufacturers Daltons offer a wide portfolio of woodworking machinery to suit a variety of industries and uses.
Indeed the company’s activities cover everything from machinery for schools, colleges and other public authorities to timber suppliers, joinery manufacturers, etc, as well as of course the furniture sector which is becoming an increasingly important part of their customer base.
This development has been heightened recently by the acquisition of the UK distribution rights for the Fravol range of edge banding machines, a distribution agreement for Kundig wide belt and edge sanding machines, Kuper planing and moulding machines and a wider range of classical products under the Diplomat label to add to the many products they market from Wadkin. But of course at Daltons the range is almost infinite and a range of top level panel cutting machines by Dutch manufacturer Elcon, Tigerstop up-cutting crosscutting systems (also from Holland) and UK manufactured band resaws from Stenner are all important features of the Daltons portfolio.
Another significant move has been the company’s comparatively recent involvement in the supply of Saom CNC machining centres. Manufactured in Italy the Saom machines embrace a wide range of models from 3 to 5 axis to suit an infinite variety of applications, and machines are also produced when required ‘bespoke’ to individual requirements.
