When considering the viability of continued dependence on a trusty but ageing
48” Band Resaw for a significant proportion of their sawn output,

Southerns’ Mill Manager Mick Anderson was happy to put his trust in Daltons, having had previous transactions with the old established Nottingham based company and recalling in particular the assistance provided by Daltons in supplying and installing a Wadkin XE 6-Head High Speed Planing and Moulding Machine which is currently producing sterling work in their mill, working turn and turn about with three other 6-Head Wadkin Moulders.Bearing in mind the requirement for higher production on this occasion, together with the optimum use of floor space, Andy had no hesitation in recommending new Stenner Tandem ST100 Resaws which together provided the sawing rates required by Southerns within the budget they had set. As main distributors for Stenner stand-alone Resaws Daltons have been successful in supplying many of these Resaws to all parts of the UK and Ireland, incorporating as they do the latest technology available including HMI control systems and of course a pitless design.
